Curved spring washers are used where axial clearance needs to be offset. This could be offsetting a small amount of clearance with a relatively light load. All dimensions have 1 "curve". Washers with 1 "curve" allow the washer to be pressed flat without the cam having reduced force as a result. It is, however, recommended that items always be sized so as to use less travel.

Description

Curved spring washers are used where axial clearance needs to be offset. This could be offsetting a small amount of clearance with a relatively light load.
All dimensions have 1 "curve". Cams with 1 "curve" allow the washer to be pressed flat without the cam having reduced force as a result. It is, however, recommended that items always be sized so as to use less travel.

Surface

The 4 smallest sizes are phosphatised and oiled. The other sizes are galvanised 9-12 my.
