Extension Springs - Stainless Steel

Technical drawing - Extension spring - Range ABC

This series is available in three different lengths: 300mm, 500mm and 1,000mm. These springs are mainly used for testing – you can cut the springs to the desired length and then create loops.The springs are also available in piano wire.

Please note that these springs do not have loops.

DIN 17224 AISI 302 WERKSTOFF NO. 1.4310
Working temperature between -200 ºC and +250 ºC.
Produced in stainless steel for use in all environment. The stainless steel is rust-resistant.

Loops

These springs comes with no loops.

Spring constant

There are no spring constants for this range of springs. These springs are designed to test and try where the springs can be shortened to achieve the desired length. The spring constant depends on the length, so we are unable to provide a general spring constant.

Winding direction

Normally right-handed

Standard springs are not defined with a specific direction of wind. Depending on production, the springs may be produced either right or left wound. If you require a specific direction of wind a special spring must be produced.

Misc.

The springs are intended for tests and experiments. You can cut them to the required length.

If an extension spring with an exact value for one of the following parameters is required, springs must be custom-made:
- Loop type
- Loop height (LH)
- Loop position (X)
- Loop width (if the spring is to be incorporated into a tube)
- Opening at loop (m)
- Initial force (F0)
